Age Verification Policy

Adults only

This store sells alcohol and is intended only for people aged 21 or over. By using the site you confirm that you meet that requirement. We do not market to minors, and we do not knowingly allow an order to be placed by anyone under 21.

Age check at checkout

An order cannot be completed without entering a date of birth and confirming it. The date is validated against the delivery jurisdiction’s minimum age and stored with the order as a record that the requirement was met. Orders that fail the check are cancelled and any amount taken is refunded in full.

Adult signature at delivery

Every shipment requires an in-person handoff to a person aged 21 or over who can present valid government photo identification — a state driving licence, state identification card, passport or military identification. The carrier records the date of birth of the person accepting the parcel. Parcels will not be left at a door, with a concierge, in a mailroom, in a parcel locker or with a neighbour.

If identification cannot be produced

The carrier will make further delivery attempts and will then return the parcel to us. When a parcel comes back unopened, we refund the item value; original shipping charges are not refunded in that case because the delivery was attempted as agreed. If you expect identification to be a problem at the delivery address, contact us before ordering and we will discuss alternatives.

What we may ask for

In rare cases we may ask for additional confirmation of age or of the cardholder’s identity before releasing an order, particularly where the billing and delivery addresses differ. We ask only for what is needed to confirm eligibility, and we handle it under our privacy policy. Never send full card numbers or identity documents by unencrypted email unless we specifically ask you to.

Refusal and cancellation

We may refuse or cancel any order where age or identity cannot be confirmed, where the delivery address cannot lawfully receive alcohol, or where we suspect the order was placed on behalf of a minor. We will tell you why where we are able to, and refund any captured amount.
