Drenched in blackberry jam, cocoa and grilled plums, this full-bodied wine combines light earthy, meaty notes with all that fruit. Fermented with the stems. Balanced by moderate tannins and a dash of natural acidity, it’s easy to enjoy. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold. —James Suckling,jamessuckling.com

Awesome aromatics of kirsch, wild strawberries, game, dried mushrooms, and rose petals all emerge from the 2021 Grenache La Paciencia Vineyard, a medium-bodied Grenache with a lively, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful balance, and outstanding length. It’s never the biggest or richest expression of the variety but shines for its incredible complexity and finesse. Drink this any time over the coming decade. —Jeb Dunnuck,jebdunnuck.com
